Frozen Shoulder/Adhesive Capsulitis : A condition where a person experience progressive stiffness and pain in the shoulder where it affects function and sleep.
Shoulder impingement : When the rotator cuff tendon gets pinched between the bony surface of the shoulder joint during movement it results in pain, decreased mobility and decreased strength.
Rotator cuff tear : Tear to the tendons or rotator cuff muscle, that controls the movement of the shoulder causes pain, difficulty moving the arm, weakness, disturbed sleep and limited function.
Tendinopathy/ Tendonitis : Inflammation or dysfunction of the tendon of the shoulder leads to pain, weakness, decreased mobility.
Arthritis : Degeneration of the cartilage of the shoulder leads to erosion of the bony surface which leads to pain, inflammation, decreased mobility, decreased function and strength.
Bursitis : Inflammation of the fluid fill sac/ bursa which cushions the tendon from the bone so as to avoid friction between the surfaces. Inflammation to the tendon which causes pain and decreased mobility.
