Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
A physiotherapist can assess and treat without a referral letter or a prescription.
How long does a session last?
Usually, the initial visit is 45-50 minutes and the follow up visits are 30- 40 min each for a regular physiotherapy session. Specialty sessions such as vestibular, concussion, pelvic floor, the initial visit is 1 hr and follow up is 30 – 40 min.
Can I receive physiotherapy and massage therapy if I donot have insurance coverage?
Yes you can receive our services even without insurance coverage, and it would be a cash based service after the completion of your each visit.
How can I pay for the service?
Either by direct billing to your insurance company Or by Cash, credit, debit, e-transfer, cheque.
What does a registered massage therapist do?
Licensed massage therapists have advanced training and experience, allowing them to provide care to alleviate pain, improve tissue mobility, increase circulation and improve function.
How long does a massage session last?
It can be 30 min, 45 min, 1 hr, 1.5 hr session.
Do I have to undress completely for a massage session?
You will only undress to your comfort level. It depends on the areas treated. You can always speak to your massage therapist on your comfort level.
Will my insurance cover me?
Every insurance company have different coverages and requirements. It is the responsibility of the policy holder to enquire about the individual coverage and limit. Our clinic can definitely assist you with the same.
